Weekend Custom Couture Accessories  - As soon as I saw the Pakistan Fashion Week Edition of this Jute & Juco eco bag I had to find out who makes these and give it a special feature on our blog.

Its easy to see this is as RAW as it gets, an actual real person would have put their heart and mind into designing these amazing accessories. You will know I'm not a fan of mass produced machined products, which makes owning such a design that extra bit rewarding.

Ladies if you are anything like me, you will love the ability to request endless possibilities of adding,  Swarovski Crystals, Sequins, flowers and bows to your bags. The bags are all hand painted and personalised by name, hair style/colour and eye colour. I can tell from the photos below each bag is uniquely made and there is little chance someone else will have the exact same design.

Below we have something different, we came across Tim Degner's work. He is a Textile & Graphic Designer and has truly done a terrific job with the below designs because I love the unique custom twist.

Sonas Couture

Sona’s couture could be described as every bride’s dream; fashionable and glamorous outfits for every occasion a bride could think of.

The first dress that struck me was a simple mehndi/sangeet type outfit. I loved the colours (fuchsia pink and olive) just because it’s an uncommon and unique combination. The stonework is heavy but not too frequent so it still looks impressive but classic and the dupatta and churidar are shaded and printed with a border.

The other outfit I chose was mainly because it was something I think every bride should have in their wardrobes. It’s a simple but classy anarkhali. With its peach and cream colours, its an outfit that could be worn at a sangeet/mehndi. The original point of the outfit is the bows at the bottom of the churidar, which is made of crepe silk whilst the top is velvet and brocade.

Why John Abraham is a fashion icon?

John Abraham and Fashion can never go wrong. John Abraham’s style has many dimensions. It’s impossible to exclude his name among the most stylish actors in Bollywood. I guess he’s the only actor in Bollywood who made such a name in the fashion world without making an effort to be stylish.

According to John, he puts on anything in which he’s comfortable in… mostly vests and denims. Hmm, I guess that’s a pretty common statement but the truth is in front of you.

John’s style has always been casual and cool which reflects comfort and simplicity which is why it’s easy for most of us to connect with his fashion sense.

National Asian Wedding Show Khushboos By Chand

We already posted about Gul Ahmed's amazing outfits showcased at the National Asian Wedding Show. The full volume dresses always look great on the catwalk. However we felt the best bridal collection In theme of Weddings was Khushboos by Chand's collection.

I smiled ear to ear when I saw the traditional colors and embroidery incrusted pieces walk on by me at the catwalk.  The main reason I went was due to me trying to find a nice wedding outfit for my sisters wedding and i wasn't disappointed, I found the ideal outfit.

I cant help but think the show was very busy due to H-Dami making an appearance.

Julien Trivedi - Designer for Men

To spice things up a little we decided its time we looked at Men’s Couture Fashion.

After a little research it seems Asian Men’s Fashion is a selective arena, it isn’t as widely advertised and it’s

hard to find a reliable Couture designer for men’s outfits. The question is if they are in fact any good at the core service they provide. 

As an independent fashion blog we today will be looking at the basics, Quality, Trustworthiness and Price

After a little research we came across Julien Trivedi a contemporary Brit-Asian bespoke outfitter.

My first impressions of Julien Trivedi were based around the website home page. 

You are given the chose to enter into the modern suit design page or the traditional sherwani page. This straight away tells me they embrace the traditional and contemporary values.

Julien Trivedi has outfits from a wide spectrum of price ranges, simple sleek to lavish garments that have been especially crafted to suit your physic.

I liked how they allow you to hire an outfit for that special day. This is an encouraging step by Asian designers to challenge the mainstream English hire services.
