Humid Weather Singapore
It's sweltering humid in my city lately, it's almost possible to fry an egg.
It's hard to look good all the time when it's extremely hot outside. You just want to be in the most comfortable avatar so that you can beat the heat. I can't guarantee that you will be able to keep cool 24/7 but by following these tips, you get to keep enough cool and enjoy your day away.
Hair and makeup
Hair and makeup plays an important role of our personal appearance. If they look good, no doubt, it'll be a good face day. However, to balance both a good hair and makeup in this weather is really hard. Try to keep it simple and you have the world on your fingertips.
Foundation: Skip the foundation so that it will not melt on your face with the extreme heat. Try not to put so much of blush and bronzer as they will melt too when it's exposed to hot weather.
Hair: To let your hair down is the last thing you would ever want to do when it's burning hot outside. Try a messy bun, ponytail or braids. So that you don't have to waste time to use heat products to tame them...because trust me, you wouldn't want to mess with your hair texture by using these heat products. Keep it sweet and simple.
Outfits
Dresses and skirts allow more air circulation than pants. So, you might want to opt for a maxi which shockingly, will be as comfortable as a short dress. Avoid tucking things in so that you won't stress all the heat and sweat more instead. Be a little picky when it comes to your fabrics. Go for natural ones like cotton or linen.
Little details
This is when you have to choose only light colours. Avoid dark colours, especially black. It will absorb heat and make you feel hotter. White is the perfect colour for this time of the season. Try not to go with tight fitting clothes as the looser cuts will keep you cooler by letting more air circulate. To beat this heat, I love flowing styles. They are extremely perfect for summer.

It's always important to be ready for sudden change in weather though it might be always humid outside. Carry a lightweight cardigan or jacket so that you can just put it over. I don't trust the weather because it can very unpredictable so I will always carry a ¾ sleeve cardigan with me. Otherwise, a scarf will be helpful too.
My favourite part of accessories is jewelry. An armful bangles or a big necklace will do the magic to match your casual and simple outfit. Plus, they won't add on to the heat.
Try to don your outfit with pretty sandals instead of flip flops. We still have to look chic even though the weather is trying to cut that out.

Mens Fashion - Nafees Snapbacks
The hip-hop industry has greatly promoted snapbacks. Snapbacks are advertised in music videos, lyrics, images, interviews, billboards etc. In recent years celebrities have used snapbacks as a key feature to their fashion trends.
More and more fans have adapted this tendency and the snapback usage has increased. Hip-hop artists Chris Brown and Tyga have promoted snapbacks in both their lyrics and music video for the song Snapbacks Back. Furthermore, Singer Nafees has featured them in his fashion trends and in most of his music videos, such as in his video "Bukhaar" video below

Fashion Icon – Male
I’ve been searching lately for inspiration on men’s fashion and I am a huge fan of colours but I can’t find someone who inspires me to combine colours.
So recently, I was browsing through the net and I finally found the perfect model. I’ve been looking for someone who has perfect style, who is able to inspire me when it comes to men’s fashion… and now I name him my fashion icon… he is none other than the flawless beauty Mariano Di Vaio.
I am sure his name is on everyone’s lips with his perfect style from head to toe yet, I am extremely excited to share what I like about him and why he is my favourite.

Ziggi Studio - Exclusive Menswear
Early in November I did a little research around fashion designers for men. I came across two key players one of which I covered here. A major contender is Ziggi Studio an award-winning menswear brand.
I'm in this marketplace again to help a relative choose the right outfit for her other half. I will be looking at Ziggi Studio today.
I have noticed Ziggi Studio are very active on facebook, I will use there facebook for my first impression.
Firstly I have to agree facebook is a great way to get yourself noticed however an active website should accompany this, for a complete professional finish.
I like how a majestic tone is set from the start, the about us page says "Majestic menswear for the modern Maharaja" this statement is very appealing to me and sets the scene.
It seems the key player in this company is Creative Director Ziggi Akhtar, I really like how everything is published for us to see on the timeline and everything is fresh. I can see they are an award-winning menswear brand and rightly so.
It is a difficult market, pleasing most men is hard enough but making them come to terms with fashion is difficult. Typically speaking any man seems to be happy to turn up to a wedding in a pair of jeans and a shirt thinking its ok.
Ziggi Studio is the brand that is successfully teasing the men to something new and exotic.
The cherry on the cake has to be Rishi Rich’s wedding Sherwani was made by Ziggi Studio.

After a little research we came across Julien Trivedi a contemporary Brit-Asian bespoke outfitter.
My first impressions of Julien Trivedi were based around the website home page.
You are given the chose to enter into the modern suit design page or the traditional sherwani page. This straight away tells me they embrace the traditional and contemporary values.
Julien Trivedi has outfits from a wide spectrum of price ranges, simple sleek to lavish garments that have been especially crafted to suit your physic.
I liked how they allow you to hire an outfit for that special day. This is an encouraging step by Asian designers to challenge the mainstream English hire services.
