Two mascaras you need to try

Gabriela Pinto oozes couture

How does it feel when your eyelashes look long, thick and voluminous?
Pretty amazing right!

If like me you have stubborn lashes that need generous coats of mascara to look presentable, i may have a resolution for you. I have two mascara recommendations that are worth trying and i know you won't be disappointed.

Ok, so the first suggestion is my all time favourite. L'oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara. If you haven't already then do give this mascara a try. It helps even the smallest lashes appear longer & fuller.

If you don't mind spending a few extra pounds, the mascara you need as a beauty must have is 'double wear lengthening mascara' by Estée Lauder. This mascara is absolutely phenomenal! I've been asked if i'm wearing false lashes whilst using this mascara.
Yes, it's that incredible.

In her handbag - Divya

One of my favourite products at the moment is something that every woman should keep in her handbag. For people like me who don’t get enough sleep or are always on the go, it is perfect. It comes in at just under £9 but it’s definitely worth the money! I use it underneath my eyes to conceal the dark rings beneath my eyes when I haven’t had enough sleep (I’m sure many of you can relate).

I’ve also recently purchased a Mac lipstick in the colour of Crème Cup. The colour is perfect for any skin colour because it’s a mix of nude and pale pink. I’ve bought quite a few products from Mac and it’s a good brand and hasn’t let me down before. Definitely worth the money as the lipstick is usually long lasting and only needs 1 coat to last a few hours.

Key Trends

Great news, ladies! It’s safe to say that there are some fabulous trends around this summer! This means that every single one of us will be able to work some of these trends in to our wardrobe without too much effort

I’m going to show you three of my favourite looks so far, which I’ve tried to make as different as possible. You are forewarned that I am sticking to the high street and there are a lot of New Look and Topshop pieces! Both stores have brilliant collections this season – particularly on accessories – and I for one can’t wait to hit the sales!

First of all, bold prints and bright colours are a huge hit this summer.  They're fun, brave and they take a fair amount of confidence to pull off.  If you love experimenting with new styles and colour, you'll probably feel right at home here.

These patterned leggings, £30.00 from Topshop, work perfectly with a block coloured top like this one, £4.99 from Mango. This look is ideal if the sun is already shining but here in the UK we sadly have no guarantee.  So you can add a few bursts of colour to this outfit with some bright accessories to really stand out!

If you need an extra layer with this outift, this leather look jacket for £29.99 at H&M really works.

I've also found a perfect little denim gillet for £45.00 at Miss Selfridge, which is one of the more expensive pieces here.  Denim is a staple though, so it’s often worth splashing out on a few nicer items.

Thanks for reading and Happy Shopping! :)

Womens perfect black leather jacket

I've been searching for "the perfect black leather jacket" for quite some time now, and after finding this one I instantly fell in love.

Womens perfect black leather jacket
My perfect black leather jacket
Although it has gold spikes and studs across the shoulders and around the wrists, it still has a feminine streak to it. I've been searching for a fairly decent priced one, as no one has £80 to blow on one jacket (well not someone like me, who knows for a fact she'll only wear this jacket 2 times before handing it over to a charity shop!) which is why I was searching like a madman for a fairly priced one and found *this* it was £25 (in the sale) reduced from £50, so I thought 'why not?' It's not every day a girl has a chance to try something outside of her comfort zone without spending a dime!

Gold Studs - black leather jacket
Gold Studs - black leather jacket

Okay back to jacket now... its leather material is fairly thin compared to others I've shopped around for, yet it still has a comfy fit and will keep you warm! It goes with just about anything (black and gold, how can it not?!) This jacket has now become a personal favourite of mine and I wear it almost everyday...the charity shop is going to have to wait another few months until they get it!
Only other details I can tell you (which aren't on the website description) are that this jacket looks WAAY different in real life, than it does online...but I guess that's what you get with everything nowadays! I would definitely recommend this jacket but hurry before they run out! Also you can even match this jacket with your favourite salwar suit without it seeming too 'risky' – Happy shopping guys xo

Asian Women Magazine 2012

I don't read many fashion magazines however I like to review them to see if they are getting it right.

Having seen this cover online I really liked the style of it. The punch line "Catwalk" is eye catching. The array of styles on the beautiful models immediately grabs your attention.

Asiana is a "mainstream" magazine but they got it wrong on their last release Asiana Winter Edition (read my review on that cover here).

The Asian Woman Magazine showcases great variety of fashion concepts and reviews, best thing is you can read it on line for FREE. Click here to read the latest issue of Asian Woman

Asiana Winter Edition Magazine 2012

It's that time of year again Asiana release a new winter edition magazine.

Oozes Couture first impressions of the Asiana Winter Edition cover, the cover doesn't ooze wedding magazine to me, to be honest it looks incredibly wrong.  A magazine aimed at real women sorry but it fails that goal.
It all seems a bit fake to me. Sorry to be so harsh but when it comes to beauty don't wash it away with airbrushing. This poor model has had the life photoshopped out of her. There is no special feature on this cover to make me want to pick this up at WHSmith. .

If i had to give this cover a score it would be 3/10 I hope the next edition is more appealing than this one.

Khushboos by Chand

Even here in Singapore Khushboos has its signature reputation as the only unique bridal boutique that has every range of color and fashion accent. It is simply the epitome of heavily embroidered and detailed outfits that are filled with lots of dazzling bling. Words are not enough to explain the spectacular designs that Khushboo’s by Chand offers. I will the let the pictures do the talking.
Gold Collection – Khushboos by Chand

Gold Collection – Khushboos by Chand
This is my personal favourite from the Gold Collection. I absolutely love the fashionable stone embroidered works on the chest area and the neck collar. It is a fusion of classy and high end elegance.
Red Collection – Khushboos by Chand
Red Collection – Khushboos by Chand
Red is the traditional colour for wedding outfits, however modern brides want a fancy traditional outfit that would portray their modern character. Thus, this is the flawless outfit to suit the combination. What I especially love about this outfit is the work on the net sleeves and the cut of the outfit. It gives you the smooth Princess look.

Colour Collection – Khushboos by Chand
Colour Collection – Khushboos by Chand
Offering a various range of outfits for that special day. Here is another outfit that is something outside the norm. It has the "Pakistani bride" look merged with the traditional Indian design. The color is  impeccable, if you are going for something different this is for you. I love this outfit so much… mainly because of the cutting of the top and the perfect color combination of blue and gold. Certainly something that I would go for if I am looking for a modern and totally different look.

You’ve seen above from my images what Khushboos by Chand offers, and I’m sure you were floored by the exclusive designs.
after calling the shop for some market research we discovered Khushboos offer a made to measure service, if you are searching for a unique piece just name it and you have it perfectly fitted.
